Born and raised in Illinois, I grew up in a close-knit community where I knew my neighbors, church members, and school friends from kindergarten through high school. After graduating from Drake University and marrying my college sweetheart, my life changed as we relocated throughout the Midwest—living in the Illinois suburbs, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Kansas City. These moves taught me the importance of getting involved in each community.

Initially, I engaged with my kids' schools through the PTA and Governance Council. As an active parent, I spent countless hours driving to swim meets, lacrosse games, and soccer tournaments, which helped me navigate and connect with each new area.

After a career in retail merchandising, my family’s relocations inspired me to shift my focus to volunteering. I supported local schools, hospitals, sports teams, community museums, and fundraising efforts, building valuable connections along the way. As a member of Delta Gamma, I relied on these relationships to further integrate into each community.

These experiences ultimately led me to real estate. I understand how challenging relocation can be, and am passionate about helping others navigate the process smoothly.
